Why Yoga?

Regular yoga practice relaxes the mind and body and relieves tension from the nervous system.  Yoga is an ancient form of movement that focuses on strength, flexibility and movement to boost physical and mental wellbeing.  It creates a state of balance and harmony within the individual and relieves the stresses and strains of modern life.

My Yoga Services

The private online yoga sessions that I offer are suitable for all ages, abilities and levels from complete beginners through to advanced practitioners and teachers alike.  I teach various styles depending on your needs and requirements, ranging from the gentlest yoga therapy and restorative yoga to the more challenging solar Prana Vinyasa flow.

I teach a wide variety of yoga group classes ranging from the gentlest restorative classes to the most challenging Dynamic vinyasa flow classes.  The main style that I teach is Vinyasa Flow.  This style is usually a faster pace than other styles and has its roots in Ashtanga yoga – the 20th-century yoga created by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, a student of the great yogi Krishnamacharya.  It is often a very creative style and can be customised to suit a wide range of student abilities and levels

The Yoga Therapy for Insomnia sessions that I offer is currently running online via Zoom.  I’ve trained with Lisa Sanfilippo and so I use the practical wisdom from the Sleep Recovery method to pinpoint where your sleep has gone out of balance and then to help repair it.

How it works

Email info@clairesmithwellness.com or call 07739 397377 to make an inquiry or to book your first session via Skype or Zoom. Various times are available to suit your schedule for yoga sessions. The first session will be 1 hr 15 to include the consultation or alternatively, book your consultation separately.
